Executive Committee  Member

Alasana Gitteh is a development worker currently serving as a Regional Coordinator for Future in Our Hands -The Gambia, a development NGO that supports rural communities with development projects and promotes civic and women’s empowerment. Alasana has over ten years of experience in the non-profit sector and has worked with the Global Fund for HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis Project in The Gambia.

He also worked at Health Promotion and Development Organization as Field Coordinator for West Coast Region and the Nova Scotia Gambia Association, a nonprofit group that works on health promotion in schools and communities for five years.

Alasana is a strong advocate for the promotion of sexual and reproductive health rights of girls and women’s and their empowerment. He has experience and knowledge in fundraising, a skill he hopes to benefit TGA as an executive committee member.

He holds an Advanced Diploma in Management Studies from the Management Development Institute and is currently pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management at the University of The Gambia.
